This book had over all knowledge about the Great Depression. It taught us about the economic changes and about the strange jobs men needed to work in order to live. A summary of the end of the depression was given at the end of the book.

We obtained a brief summary about the Great Depression and Roosevelt's plan to end it. A few reforms such as the AAA and the WPA were mentioned in the book.

This book helped us learn more about the stock market and about the day the stock market crashed. There was a lot of information about Black Tuesday and Black Thursday.
